Carrageenan is a natural polysaccharide gum extracted from Rhodopphyceae red seaweed. They are large, highly flexible molecules which curl forming helical structures that are widely used in the food and other industries as thickening, suspending, emulsifying and stabilizing agents. The species are mostly grown in tropical waters of  Indonesia and Philippine which are considered to be the biggest producers in the world.

Alkali Treated Seaweed (ATS) is Premium carrageenan with high gel strength and low impurity in natural form. High quality seaweed processed by alkali treated and dried. Known for one of the best quality ATS in Indonesia.
